For this year’s @CSSconfeu (@sumcumo was there, I traveled), @acwervo caught my eye: “Why Do We Call HTML Tags ‘Tags’?” Yet—the curious thing seems to be why many people, including Andrés, call _elements_ “tags” (cf. annevankesteren.nl/2004/05/tags-vs-elements). Was this lost in the slides?
