  1. #Writing. Scanned >100 of old English articles in “On Web Development” the other day. Uhm. What struck me was the tone of older articles–often harsh, aloof, pushy; ignorant at times, too. Filing this under “non-native speaker” is easy. Yet I wasn’t that jerk, either. Well.

      On a positive note, all this led to useful edits and improvements for “On Web Development” and its 134 articles. amazon.com/dp/B010PQPT90/ has the revised edition if you’re interested—I think it’s a nicer format, though on meiert.com it’s all there for free.
