    1. #CSS. When going through @simplebits’s “Sass for Web Designers” (blast from the past! abookapart.com/products/sass-for-web-designers) I wondered how often his good advice to keep an eye on mixins vs. extends was heeded. What’s your view, what factor do mixins play wrt “wet” CSS output?

    @simplebits Average declaration repetition on popular sites currently looks stable (~70%, meaning 70 out of 100 declarations would be duplicates): meiert.com/en/blog/70-percent-css-repetition/. You must not side w/ the proposed acceptable degree of 10–20% repetition, but we really observe *a lot* of repetition.
