I’m using my infinite free time to certify as an @awscloud Cloud Practitioner. Coming in from the outside the program looks like lipstick on uncontrolled growth of services and focus on the org (not user). A taste? One and a half books in, 73 (!) services are relevant for cert.On twitter.com

Another example? The “easy pricing model” of #AWS is described in a 22-page PDF (“How AWS Pricing Works”). Amazing as the services are, #AWS looks like any Amazonian who had an idea was priced with a department and free rein to do their own marketing. It’s cool, and it’s scary.Permalink On twitter.com
