Check out this @sitepointdotcom article, from 2002. (“Fixed layouts are slowly becoming a thing of the past.”) The idea of #RWD (@beep in 2010?) helped to pay more attention to #UX needs and to promote #CSS media queries. There were predecessors to both. sitepoint.com/liquid-design/On twitter.com
