  1. Trick question! Which one of these does not lead to display as an ampersand (“&”) in #HTML?

      Correct answer: They’ll ALL show an ampersand (simplified for &). The surprises are due to compatibility: html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/named-characters.html#named-character-references. Test page (I was a bit surprised, wanted to confirm): hell.meiert.org/core/html/ncr.html. Practical uses? None, other than making deliberate use of &.
