@simevidas Don’t nail me down on HTML spec specifics here But you COULD also store a document in another encoding (say, ISO-8859-1, or UTF-16), and declare that either in the doc (<meta>) or through Content-Type, and that should work CC’ing @zcorpan for an additional perspective :)
