  1. HTML/CSS validation is a key part of professional frontend development. (Everyone can write invalid code. There’s nothing to it.) Without a validation routine, a frontend developer is a bit like the boxer who doesn’t have a routine on the heavy bag. And it shows.

      (I’m still torn on the GIF. A boxer working out seemed a bit too serious, yet now it looks as if a professional frontend developer habitually deploying invalid div soups was as cute as little humanoids trying to handle heavy bags. Nonono that’s not it.)
